:REMO DE JANEIRO:

Attracted to bright lights and loud noises, Remo got his funkin start in Edmonton's club and Rave Community in the mid 90's. Before becoming a DJ, Remo was there to dance! Often the first one on and the last one off the floor, some of Remo's favourite DJs included Deko-ze, Tryptomene, Cory Payne, Dragan, Nicky Delgado, Junior Brown,, Celcius, Dr J., Spilt Milk, Ariel & Roel, Waylon Sherrington, Tripswitch, Lori the Hi Fi Princess, and Andy Pockett. Party animal and a natural networker, Remo co-founded cheeky production company UNIT-E. Filling E-Towns dance floors from 95-98, Unit-E put on a slew of successful Raves and themed club parties. After Unit-E disbanded, Remo purchased his first pair of 1200s and hasn't looked back. Remo's style evolving from Hard/Acid Techno to funky, deep and soulful house was less gradual than one might expect. After Housing Edmonton for more than a decade Remo has emerged as one of Edmonton's most popular and hardest-working DJs. Whether you're tapping your feet in the lounge, shaking your booty on a dance floor or just tripping balls at a festival Remo's sound will move you.

:KHAN:

A 12 year veteran of the westcoast intentional dance scene, Khan's lush progressive sets are filled with tribal rhythms, beautiful melodies and mystical landscapes. He is a master of the live mix, seamlessly blending loops and layers, weaving epic soundscapes on the fly from the raw elements of his carefully selected tracks, while building the energy of the dance floor to its peak. His mission is to facilitate deep, transcendent journeys that bring dancers to a state of higher consciousness, awakening and deepening into the mystery of the dance, and to spread his conscious groove to as many souls as he can reach along the way. From peak sets to early morning transformations to glorious daytime throwdowns, Khan can bring life to any dance floor. Hailing from the beautiful city of Victoria on Canada's westcoast and a summer festival favourite, Khan's infectious spirit is sure to give rise to some serious magic on the dance floor and beyond.

:STEVEN CHAPMAN:
Born Steven Chapman in Kelowna B.C. "Chaps" or sometimes referred to as "Nucleus" when producing or dj'ing hardcore techno. Chaps began dj'ing in late 1998 and has played the gambit of parties up and down the lower mainland and interior of British Columbia. Beginning with a love for hardcore gabber techno and donning the moniker "Nucleus" , he produced parties as well as dj'd in the fledgling local hardcore scene. Soon though the production bug of another kind was biting and Nucleus produced several tracks which showed his love for additional styles of electronic music. This diverse love of techno is most of its forms naturally led Steve to try his hand at dj'ing different types of music. Namely House and Techno. This is where Steve stands now, nearly finished his school at BCIT and focusing his little remaining time towards House and Techno and sporting a new dj name to represent his change of styles.

:Joy One:
Joy One has been breeding Bass lines and grooves with electro, funk, breaks, and house that will tear the roof of your conscious ceiling. For 4 years, in the Intentional and Subculture scenes. He has forged the "Ethereal" with the "Get Down"! Sound Alchemy designed to enhance your Thought, lift your Spirit, provoke you to Dance and cause the strange and rare phenomena of "I had a great Time!". Seat-belts and Helmets not required! :Adham Shaikh:

Adham is a composer, producer and sound designer currently living near Nelson, BC. He has been producing music for the past 18 years and has released 4 solo albums, 2 collaborative full-length albums and numerous individual compositions over the course of his career. As a performer, Adham has played across Canada and internationally at festivals, film events and clubs - both solo and together with a wide variety of accompanying world musicians.

Alex "P.A" Suplex first got interested in producing electronic music and djing when he met members of soundproof in 2000. His first show as a live P.A. artist was for The Soul Boogie Collective in Vancouver B.C. in 2002 with Jack Kester. This was the year that Alex also decided to move his music production career ahead, by throwing electronica music events with help from friends. ..

"P.A." Suplex has shared stages with The Glitch Mob, Jay Wikid, PropaTingz, Bonobo, The Orbatak, Ali B and many more from around the world.

Alex Suplex is also good friends with founding members of Shambhala Music Festival, www.liquidbeat.com, Brewman Productions, and many more.

Lefy’s been Djing since his College radio days and back then it was all vinyl. He’s built a strong dance community in and around Invermere, hosting a multitude of amazing events like Bass Camp and some epic nights at Bud's Boogie Parlor. He has gained some valuable experience from playing the Rock Pit @ Shambhala, The Time of Your Life Dome @ Burning Man and opening for break-beat legends such as A-Skills, Krafty Kuts, Freestylers, Czech, Ed Solo, Mat the Alien, Small Town Djs and Meow Mix while playing alongside Hoola, Mihajic Touch, Freddy J and Joy 1 to name a few.

From house parties to big festivals, Lefy's zest for life, positive energy and well-intentioned break-beat sets are sure to get your Booty Shakin' on the dance floor!

For Nate, music has always been a integral part of life. Growing up with pianos, keyboards, and a fisher-price record player, spending his teenage years performing in and leading school bands, and now, having spent the last 10 years working on honing his skills as a DJ and performer, he continues to express and share his love for music with beautiful people around the province and abroad.

Always focusing on the positive vibes, DJ Nate Spektacle is all about having fun, spreading love and, of course, on grounding, stomping, progressive and uplifting beats... a croud partaking in on of his DJ sets has no choice but to smile, dance, cheer and simply have a blast.
DJing to him is about engaging people, getting the crowd all on the same page, and from there, ensuring that everyone has the most amazing experience possible. Parties and festivals are about fun, celebration, and sharing space with friends and loved ones. As such, he wants his musical stylings to reflect and enhance that vibe, so be prepared to dance, to smile, and to feel abundantly alive when Nate Spektacle hits the stage.
